Welcome!

A very big  WELCOME to Sir David Attenborough Class from Miss.Johnson, Mrs.Hickling and Mrs.Lunn.

Our class are supported by Miss.Haslam (teaching assistant), Miss Bond (teaching assistant) and Mrs.Marriott (teaching Assistant).

This half-term, our topic is 'Scrumdiddlyumptious'. We will explore the importance of healthy eating. We'll investigate the process by which chocolate is made and run our very own chocolate factory, designing, making , tasting and selling our own products!

This half-term, we will be reading 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl.

Important information: 

Our PE days are: TUESDAY and  THURSDAY

Start/ End of day routines: 

 School starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm. 

Home learning: 

Home learning will be given on Thursday and due in the following Tuesday. This will be via dojo however paper copies will be available if you find this easier. Please upload to dojo after completing so I can give out dojos!! 

Spellings: 

Spellings will be handed out on Friday and tested on Thursday. 

Contact: Nurturing and teaching your children is a privilege and it is our priority that your children are safe, comfortable and happy at school. All the members of staff in Attenborough class will be here to answer any queries you may have. For a quick chat or message about your child, I will be available at the classroom door on entry and at the end of the day however if you have a concern that may require more time, please send me a dojo so that I can arrange a telephone conversation or meeting when is convenient for us both!
