As we are approaching the last week of term we are having a variety of activities based on the end of the Gruffalo story, our phonics learning and the children's interests. This week the children will have the opportunity to explore different textured foods to create their own Gruffalo crumble. They will be able to have a go at creating their own sound shakers using rice and cups, this will enhance children's listening skills listening to the different sounds they have made. We will have matching games for the children to explore  remembering and matching the missing pieces together. They will be able to build their own structures using the construction materials. We are also going to be using the dough and letter dough mats to begin to recognise letters and develop children's language.

Reminders

This week we have our stay and play sessions running again Monday- Thursday in the morning from 8:45 am when you drop your child off for around 20 minutes.

On Thursday 14th October we will be having a Halloween party, therefore your child will have the opportunity to dress up.

Every Wednesday we have a special snack in Nursery, a contribution would be grateful so your child can continue to receive this. Weekly it averages out at 30p or a donation for each half a term.
