Have a go at forming each of these sounds in whatever way you choose.

Can you then push yourself and write some words with these sounds in? Maybe even use these words with a sentence. 

Writing: 

This week we are going to write a shopping list for the market. With a big focus on remembering to use finger spaces. 

You could make your own finger space at home using a lolly pop stick or a thin piece of card and practice using this in your writing. Think about what you would like to buy from the market and what you would make with these items. 

Topic: 

We are focusing on different weathers and different seasons this week, as the weather we have in England is very different to the weather Floella is used to in Trinidad. Here is some activities you may to do at home to explore this: 

You could try researching about your favourite season and write a postcard to Floella explaining why that is your favourite season. 

Create a weather diary and compare it to the one you made for your Easter homework. Is there any differences? If there is, what are they? 

Make a sensory weather bottle (see the pictures below for inspiration). 

Maths:

Our focus for this week is going to be on doubling and understanding that doubling is adding the same number.
