Week 5 30.09.2024

This week at nursery we will be starting the next part of our topic 'The Colour Monster'. This week we will be learning about the feeling of love and the colour pink. The children will have a variety of different activities to explore around the colour pink such as creating a pink heart, colour sorting the hearts in the sand, using their own ideas and the cotton buds to create a blossom tree, making a love potion in the water, exploring the pink rice in the tuff spot, love heart mark making and creating love heart biscuits. Please see below some pictures of our activities this week.

One day, the Color Monster wakes up feeling very confused. His emotions are all over the place; he feels angry, happy, calm, sad, and scared, all at once! To help him, a little girl shows him what each feeling means through color.

We Are a Family | Jack Hartmann

We are a Family is a song about cooperation, friendship and how all the things we do to show love make us strong families. This song can strengthen school families and give students a purpose of working together and helping one another each day in the classroom.

Friday 04th October 2024- Forest School for nursery children, please send your child to nursery in weather appropriate clothing. Children can also come to school wearing something pink as part of our topic 'The Colour Monster'.
