Week 1 01.11.2021
We are looking forward to welcoming all our children back after half term and to be able to continue our learning into our next topic.
This week we are going to be learning about Diwali and Bonfire Night. The activities will include exploring the coloured rice creating different patterns using their fingers or utensils.The children will have the opportunity to create different patterns in the dough using resources such as lentils, pasta and popcorn kernels . The children will be busy creating their own Diwali lamp and will be able to use different resources to decorate hand templates. We will be threading using the different coloured shapes and string.We will also be tasting different foods for Diwali.
Thursday and Friday
This Thursday and Friday the children will be learning about bonfire night and will be taking part in lots of different activities such a creating their own fireworks with the paint and tubes, exploring the glitter creating different marks with the paint brushes, threading using the pipe cleaners and colanders.
