Parent Support Worker
Since September 2016 Carrie Morley, one of our established Teaching Assistants has been working as a parent support worker in school for 2 sessions each week. She will be available for you to speak to every Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon.
Her role will include support in the following areas:
- Behaviour and setting boundaries at home
- Attendance and routines in the home
- Signposting to parenting courses and further support
- Signposting to health professionals
- Early Help support from the tiers 2 and 3 of the Pathway to Provision
- Support with parenting issues
Parent group for parents with children that have or are going through a diagnosis to come together to have a chat and share their ideas each half term.
