What we're up to this week!
This week, we will be looking at Remembrance Day and what remembrance is all about. We will watch a video that shows the mood during the war and how the fields were filled with poppies at the end. In nursery, the children will be making their own poppies using paint and sponges, which we will turn into a lovely wreath. We will also be creating a collage of a poppy on big paper that all of the children can contribute towards.
Later this week, we will be looking at anti-bullying in celebration of anti-bullying week, as well as completing some activities about anti-bullying. Then, we will finish the week off by completing some activities around children in need, and looking into what comic relief is and why we celebrate it.
