Phonics:
The sounds we are focusing on this week are b, f, ll and ss.
Below I have attached our phonics song and tricky word song to help with recapping.
For each sound I have attached a Geraldine the Giraffe video, the children really enjoy watching these videos and it helps them to apply the new sound!
Please have a go at forming each sound and trying to write words that start with and/or included the focus sound.
Challenge: Write these words into sentences!
Writing:
This week we are having a go at independently writing our own stories!
These stories can be about anything that you like. We can't wait to see what story you write!
Topic:
Our focus this week is Science. We will be doing lots of fun and amazing science activities throughout the whole week including investigating sinking/ floating, investigating shadows and having a go at dying some flowers.
Maybe you could have a go at doing a little investigation of your own.
