Week 2 08.11.2021

This week we will be launching our new topic 'Major Glad and Major Dizzy'. The children will be getting a little visit from our toy soldiers (Major Glad and Major Dizzy). We will also be taking a look at some of the old toys from the story. The children will have a variety of activities to explore this week based around the story such as soldiers in the jelly and threading using the beads on the abacus. They will also be creating a medal for the solider's and be busy making their own talking tins to use with their friends. They will also have the opportunity to create their own toy soldiers using the dough and cutters.

Reminders

This week we are beginning Forest School's on Friday 12th November and this will then continue every Friday until the end of this term. Please ensure your child comes in old clothing and wellingtons as we will be outdoors exploring in different weathers. Could you please make sure your child has a spare change of clothes in their bag a they may get dirty during their Forest School Time. Thank you
