We are so proud of how well all of the children have come back to school last week, we have had a great start to the new academic year!

This week at nursery we are focusing on our school rules which are to be Kind and Thoughtful, Safe and Responsible, Celebrate Difference all around the world, Be Polite and Listen to your teachers, Work and Learn Together with our friends. We will be singing our school rule song this week with our children.

This week our activities will be based around our school rules, we are focusing on a different school rule each day this week.

Monday- Be Kind and Thoughtful

Tuesday- Safe and Responsible

Wednesday- Celebrate Difference

Thursday- Be Polite and Listen

Friday- Work and Learn Together

Our activities this week are making friendship bracelets, using the scissors safely in our dough area, pouring and mixing colours in our water area, working together in the sand area, feeding the jungle animals, making handprints and creating our own self portraits. Important Dates:

Friday 15th September 2023- Forest School for nursery children. Forest school is non-uniform, please send your child to nursery in weather appropriate outdoor clothing as forest school does take place outside. If the weather is hot please ensure that you have applied sun cream before your child attends nursery and that they bring a sun hat to nursery. Thank you!
