Welcome to Foundation Stage 2

FS2 is made up of 2 classes - Willow Class and Hazel Class. The teacher for Willow Class is Mrs Shaw and the teacher for Hazel Class is Miss Welsh. Both classes are supported by Mrs Brown.

During Summer 1 we will be focusing on space through the following books:

Aliens love underpants

Beegu

The dino that pooped the planets

PE will be on a Tuesday for both classes in Summer 1 with Coach Thomas. 

On a Friday it may be non-uniform as we will either be doing forest school or an extra curricular activity (your class teacher will update you on dojo),  thank you!

For forest school please send the children in clothing that can get dirty. Waterproofs and wellies (in a bag as the children can not wear these inside) are recommended in the colder weather and suncream and sunhats if the forecast is hot as we go outside in all weather!

On our website page you will be able to see what activities your child has been doing in order to extend their learning.

In the 'what we are learning' section you will see different links and ideas that link with our learning at school that you will be able to try at home with your child.

Please read with the children as often as possible and document this in the children's reading planners as they receive dojo's for this!
