Maths: Multiples and Factors 
Reading: This week's text is non-fiction and will help the children to understand different types of farming. They will use their retrieval and summarising skills to answer a range of questions. 

English: This week, we are writing our persuasive letter to the Prime Minister. The children will use formal writing techiniques to express what they would do for our country if they could be in charge for one week. We're very excited to hear their ideas!

Welcome Back! Our first two days of 2024!

 

English: We will be looking at British values and letter writing in preparation for writing a letter to the Prime Minister next week! 

Maths: This week, we will be doing maths starters but focussing more of our time on our English preparation. Normal maths lesson will resume next week.

Reading: We will be looking at our new book, 'The Secret Garden' by Frances Hodgson Burnett. We will make predications based on the front cover and blurb.
