Where possible, school seeks to develop links with local sports clubs and to engage these coaches in school either through these coaches jointly teaching PE with class teachers during lesson time, or by arranging taster days.
Football (Mansfield Town Football Club) and Squash (Sutton Squash Club) opportunities have links with local clubs. This is a route to out-of-school participation which we are seeking to develop with other local clubs. This is supported through our celebration of Flying the Flag for Farmilo, with our pupils participating in a range of sports beyond school, including Horse Riding, Ice Hockey, Ice Skating and Gymnastics.
