Y3/4 Ennis-Hill

Welcome!

A very big WELCOME to Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill Class from Miss.Slater (class teacher) and Miss.Chant (teaching Assistant).

For our final term, our topic is called 'Scrumdiddlyumptious'. We will be learning all about how to keep our bodies healthy by looking at food and eating healthily. Excitingly, we will be designing, making and selling our very own 'healthy' chocolate bars! We will use our D&T skills to think carefully about this process. We will also be using our Geography skills to locate where food comes from around the world and sustainable ways of growing our own food. The last few days of term will be transition days to get to know your new teacher. We will also be having Sports day! It's going to be a BUSY, EXCITING term!!!

Our Class text we will be studying this half term is 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl. We will also be reading The Great Chocoplot by Chris Callaghan alongside this.
