New topic. 'Allotment'.

Mighty Measures. 8.6.15

We had a visit from Partake Theatre on Monday 18th May and took part in many activities. 

We also enjoyed printing using different media.


Summer Term 2015


Our new topic is 'Peasants,Princes and Pestilence'.


We will be learning about the Black Death, studying historical accounts, meeting the character 'Pestilence', looking at and growing micro-organisms, preparing medieval recipes and much more! I have sent a newsletter home with further details.


I am looking forward to finding out more about our topic and I hope you are too.

Amazing creative home learning. Well done Year 5.


We went to Sherwood observatory to learn more about the solar system. Mrs Ingram and Miss Goodman were SO proud of us for our enthusiasm and great behaviour! 
During guided reading some of us practised using dialogue.

She danced to 'Thriller' but I haven't got sound on my I pad!

Well done to the cross country team who tried very hard at Ashfield School on Saturday 13th Dec.

We made time machines for our creative home learning.

Liv came to our class for a second visit so that we could see how she has grown and changed.

REMINDER.  13.11.14 

Spellings will be given on Mondays. You need to practise spellings in your home learning book and put each one into a sentence.


Also, remember to practise x-tables in your book.


Home learning books are collected very FRIDAY. 


Well done to all of you who put lots of effort into your home learning.

We used dictionaries to try to find words quickly.
