Home reading
Please aim to read daily with your child and write it in their planners. Reading can include PM books, library books and Bug Club. Remember, children can earn reading dojos for their home reading!!
Home learning
In Year 2, children will be given weekly Maths or English every Friday. This is due in the following Wednesday. Children are also expected to complete one piece of topic home learning per half term.
Children will be given weekly spellings on a Friday and will be tested the following Wednesday.
PE
Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday but please keep PE kits in through the week in case of any changes. Thank you

Welcome back for our summer term! This half term our topic is 'The Scented Garden'. Please find our newsletter above for more information. We will be learning about planting seeds, life cycles and caring for plants. Towards the end of the half term, we will be visiting Pleasley Orchid to explore different plants.

This half term, our topic is Muck, Mess and Mixtures!
