Letters and their sounds - Introduce action, sound and story for 'o'. Make the shape and say the rhyme "Draw all around the octopus".

 

Number learning - Make the marks to represent the amount.

Letters and their sounds - Introduce story, sound and action for 'g'. Make the letter shape and say the rhyme "Go round his grumpy face and under his tummy"

 

Number learning - Recite numbers to count. Count objects 1:1 to 5. Use our fingers to show that amount.

Topic - Grandpa's Handkerchief - There is  a Pirate ship in our story. We will look at boats and floating.

 

Letters and their sounds - Say the sound 'a,a, achoo' Tap your noise twice then sneeze. Made the letter shape by saying the rhyme 'follow the fly all the way round up and down and flick him away.'

 

Number learning - Count out 3 objects. Add 1 more. How many now? Is it the same or different?

Topic - Grandpas Handkerchief - We will have a role play train station with tickets to go on a journey. We will also talk about different types of transport.

 

Letters an their sounds - Introduce the sound 'sssssssss', and action for create a wave with stretched out arms. Make the letter shape.

 

Number learning - How many people on the train? Count small amounts of objects in 2 groups. Build a tower using blocks. Count how many. 

WELCOME TO FARMILO FOUNDATION 

 

We'll be spending the next two weeks getting to know one another properly and settling into our lovely Blue Group or Yellow Group.

 

We will also be learning all about our school rules:

  • Be kind and thoughtful
  • Be safe and responsible
  • Celebrate difference
  • Be polite and listen
  • Work and learn together

As well as looking at all the areas in the unit and learning how to play and share them, and tidy away together, we will be learning where we need to be if the fire alarm were to sound.
