Maths
We are continuing with ordering and comparing fractions like we did on Friday. Remember, if the denominator is different, make the denominator the same on both fractions.
E.g 1/5 ( ) 5/15. We know that 15 is in the 5 times tables, so i would multiply 5 by 3 to get the denominator of 15. Whatever you do to the denominator, you do to the numerator, so i would multiply 1 by 3 as well. This turns into 3/15. I do not change 5/15 because the denominator is already 15. If i compared 3/15 ( ) 5/15 i would get the an answer of 3/15 < 5/15.
