Friday 5th June
Morning everybody. As you'll have read on the newsletter, we plan to reopen Y6 on Monday with the routines and systems we shared with you already. You can view all the information here and please do access the revised Home-School Agreement on that page.
Today, we have an Arithmetic blast, your spelling test (and lovely Mrs.Ferry is back causing chaos in it) and our Key Stage 2 Friday theme learning.
Thursday 4th June
Morning everybody, it's Big Write today as you write your Rainbow-themed poetry. Our maths continues with the statistics theme as we look at finding the Mean average today!
Wednesday 3rd June
Today we continue with our learning about line graphs as we attempt some old SATs reasoning questions which challenge you to interpret the line graphs. In our English learning today, we begin to write our own verse for our Rainbow poetry. Take your time with this as it is not a lengthy piece of writing but relies on lots of thought and careful language choices.
Tuesday 2nd June
Morning everybody, today we will be using our knowledge of reading and interpreting line graphs in maths to help us solve problems. Our English learning will introduce personification and developing our ideas further to help us write our poems.
