On Thursday 19th October, Farmilo Primary School and Nursery will transform into a museum to showcase all the learning which has taken place from the pupils' studies of history topics this half--term. This will include opening to other teachers for training and an open-afternoon for parents/carers and families.
Arrangements for families visiting the museum:
The main school gate will open at 1:45pm to all families of children in F2-Y6. You will first need to collect your child from their classroom. If you are not able to make it then your child will have lots to do helping out in their own classroom.
We would then like to encourage you to visit every classroom in school with your child where you will be able to learn about different periods of history as well as take part in some games/activities!
There are wristbands available to purchase for children (£1) and there will also be a ‘café’ set up…so we do encourage you to please bring some change!
Children will not be allowed to go home before the end of the school day so please make the most of the opportunity to visit the various classes in school as well as your own child(ren)’s. Every class has been busily getting ready for our Museum Day and they have lots to be proud of and show you!
