We are very lucky to have been chosen to represent the Minster school Alliance as part of the Primary representation in the Maths Hub. There are only 30 of these in the country and only 2 in the East Midlands.
During this next academic year 14-15 Vanessa Blore, our Lower School Maths lead and Assistant Head, will be visiting Shanghai to look at Maths teaching there and then later we will be hosting some Shanghai teachers at Farmilo. We hope that as a result of this global research work our own maths teaching will become even better and we will be able to support other schools along the way too! Exciting times!
